Arthur Edwin Gumpenberger, went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born to Ed and Stella Gumpenberger in 1951 in Fowler, KS.
Arthur will be greatly missed by his wife Linda Gumpenberger and children; Joseph Gumpenberger, Brian and wife Traci Gumpenberger, Sarah and husband Chris Goodrich, David and wife Sarah Lampe, Jason and wife Becky Lampe, and 17 grandchildren; Anna Gumpenberger, Jonah Gumpenberger, Emily Gumpenberger, Ashlind Gumpenberger, Atleigh Gumpenberger, Lochlan Gumpenberger, Elijah Goodrich, Lucas Goodrich, Micah Goodrich, Lillianna Goodrich, Samantha Lampe, Wyatt Lampe, Holly Statham, Presley Ridley, Allie Alvarez, Gracie Lampe, Jacy Lampe, and 2 great-grandchildren; Kinleigh and Maddox, a brother Robert G. and wife Myrna Gumpenberger, and sister Shirley and husband Rex Butler, a brother-in-law Jim Laufenberg, an aunt Beulah Hindman an uncle Dennis Powell and several nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed life with friends and family, fishing, gardening, playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at VFW Post #7349 in Kinsley, on April 29, 2023 at 5 pm.
Memorials may be given to VFW Post #7349 or Rivercross Hospice in care of McKillip Memorial Funeral Home, Kinsley.
