Bobbie L. Compton

Bobby Lorraine Compton 89 of Kinsley died Sunday, November 12th at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina. He was born in Turon, KS on October 6, 1928 Son of Oscar and Donnie Compton. He was a graduate of Turon High School. Bobby was a US Air Force veteran. He was a hard-working man all his life, a jack of all trades and a master of all. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include a brother CJ Compton of Lee Summit Missouri, ex-wife Lois Coover, of Kinsley, Sons Steve Compton (Tracey) of Black Hawk Colorado, Mike Compton (Michelle) of Salina and Lynn Compton (Kim) of Decatur Texas. He had seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren he was preceded in death by his parents and 10 other siblings. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, November 16th at McKillip funeral home. A private burial will follow at the Neola Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Kinsley VFW Post #7349.
