Dorothy M. (Rosproy) Putter

Dorothy M. Rosproy Putter, passed away peacefully at Southwind Nursing Home on September 23, 2024. She is now in the arms of the Lord. She was born on November 2, 1937 in Dodge City, KS. the daughter of Joseph and Eugenia Rosproy.

She attended Offerle Schools for 12 years and then married Gene Putter of Kinsley, KS. She was a homemaker for 30 years and then worked as an activity director for 20 years at the nursing home.

She is survived by her twin sister, Dolores Jones and sons, Chris Putter of Kinsley, KS. and Howard Putter of Flower Mound, TX., seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Putter, a son Lyle Putter, a daughter Debbie Clausen, a grandson Dustin Putter and a sister Wilma Lorenzen.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on October 11, 2024 in Hillside Cemetery, Kinsley, for all family and friends to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to pay it forward in a random act of kindness to someone that you don't know.
