It is with great sorrow to announce that Genaro Holguin Ramirez has passed away on January 4, 2021 at age of 58. Genaro Holguin Ramirez passed away at home in his horse stables. He was born on September 19, 1962 in Via Matamoros, Chihuahua the son of Adolfo Holguin and Elisa Holguin Ramirez. Genaro is preceded in death by both parents.
Genaro met his wife Leanna Holguin in 1981 at Lewis, KS at The pub and were happily married for 30 years then later divorced. Then on October 12, 2017 he married to Felicinana Holguin.
He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. Genaro enjoyed any time spent with family, horse races, fishing and taking care of his horses and animals. In Genaro’s early stages he enjoyed being a horse farrier. Genaro was employed Great Bend Feeding in Great Bend, KS.
He is survived by 4 sons and 4 daughters- Genaro (Rosio) Holguin and their children Emily and Genaro Jr Holguin of Great Bend, KS, Rigoverto Holguin and his daughter Airilyn Holguin of Lewis, KS, Mario (Janet) Holguin with their children Sergio and Camilla Holguin of Larned, KS. Adolfo (Evelyn) Holguin with their daughters Adalia and Adelynn Holguin of Lyons, KS, Ana Holguin and her children Cindy Ibarra, Alvaro Ibarra, and Gianna Holguin of Macksville, KS, Estela (Hernan) Reyes and their children Marlon, Daniela, and Abigail Reyes of Macksville, KS, Sherry Holguin and her children Ariela Holguin of Larned, KS, Amy and Fernando of Belpre, KS and Jordan, Blanca and Dominica of Juarez, Chihuahua. Sabrina (Francisco) Baca and their children Francisco Baca Jr, Jacquelin Baca, Silvana Baca of Kinsley, KS.
Genaro is survived by his 6 siblings. Jose (Rita) Holguin of Kinsley, KS, Bertha (Manuel) Villanueva of Macksville, KS, Refugio (Sandra) of Larned, KS, Jorge (Chencha) Holguin of Kinsley, KS, Adolfo (Carmen) Holguin of Iuka, KS, and Fernando Holguin of Juarez, Chihuahua. Genaro has numerous loving nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two grandchildren and nephew.
Es con gran dolor anunciar que Genaro Holguin Ramirez falleció el 4 de enero de 2021 a la edad de 58 años. Genaro Holguin Ramirez falleció en su casa en sus establos de caballos. Nació el 19 de septiembre de 1962 en Via Matamoros, Chihuahua hijo de Adolfo Holguin y Elisa Holguin Ramirez. Genaro es precedido en la muerte por ambos padres.
Genaro conoció a su esposa Leanna Holguin en 1981 en Lewis, KS en The pub y estuvieron felizmente casados durante 30 años y luego se divorciaron. Luego, el 12 de octubre de 2017 se casó con Felicinana Holguin.

A Genaro le sobreviven sus 6 hermanos. José (Rita) Holguin de Kinsley, KS, Bertha (Manuel) Villanueva de Macksville, KS, Refugio (Sandra) de Larned, KS, Jorge (Chencha) Holguin de Kinsley, KS, Adolfo (Carmen) Holguin de Iuka, KS, y Fernando Holguin de Juárez, Chihuahua. Genaro tiene numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos queridos.
Le anteceden en la muerte sus padres, dos hermanas, dos nietos y un sobrino.
