Jeannine I. DiSante , 85, died March 22, 2015 at Hays, KS. She was born May 4, 1929, in Ford County, Kansas, the daughter of Rudolph and Esther (Stein) Schmidt. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella, the 6er’s and the Bridge Club all of Kinsley. She is survived by: her four children, Michael DiSante of Cummings, GA., Timothy DiSante of Highland, CA., Michelle Mullin of San Diego, CA., and Mark DiSante of San Jacinto, CA., one sister Germaine Berry of Neligh, NE., 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be a Rosary & Liturgy of the Word at 10:30am on Saturday, April 4, at St. Nicholas with Fr. John Strasser presiding. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9am to 7pm on Friday, April 3, at McKillip Memorial Funeral Home in Kinsley. There will be a Celebration of her Life at Rustler’s in Kinsley at 4pm on Saturday. Memorials may be sent to the Church or to Medicalodge in care of the funeral home.
