Kenneth Earl Bartman, 90, died November 21, 2019 in Halstead, KS.  He was born July 29, 1929 in rural Edwards County south of Kinsley on the family farm, the son of Roy and Gladys Allison Bartman.

Kenny graduated from Kinsley High School in Kinsley, KS.

On November 12, 1950 in Kinsley, KS. Kenneth married Wilda Rabe.

Kenneth served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Wilda; his daughter Ronda Meyer (Mark) Halstead; two grandsons, Braden (Melissa) Newton; and Kenyon (Dana) Halstead, four great grandsons: Tristan, Aidan, Gavin and Gage; and a brother Alfred Bartman of Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by a son Kent and a sister, Vinita Schmidt.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Kinsley.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Offerle following the service.

Memorials may be given to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Kinsley in care of the funeral home.
