Kieron Bernard Butler, 71, passed away on November 6, 2020, at Leisure Homestead in St. John, Kansas. Kieron was born December 31, 1948, in Hendon, England, to parents Reginald and Kitty (O'Riordan) Butler.
In 1977, Kieron and his then wife Barbara moved to the United States with their two young children. The family became U.S. citizens in 1987.
Kieron lived in a variety of places, including Texas, Louisiana, and Tennessee. He was very handy with mechanical skills and often worked in maintenance and refrigeration. However, while living in England, Kieron worked as a glass blower.
In his younger years, Kieron enjoyed fishing and stamp collecting. As he got older he developed an interest in movies, bird-watching, and arts and crafts. He will always be remembered for his fondness of the Beatles, cars, electronics, and his pride in his Irish heritage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his older brother Brian, and his older sister Phyllis. Kieron is survived by his sister April of Nevada, his sister Maureen of Texas, and his brother Sean, who resides in England; daughter Julia Butler of Kinsley, Kansas; son Kieron Butler of Hartselle, Alabama; nieces, nephews, a grand-daughter, and step grand-children.
Kieron's wishes were to be cremated. A private celebration of life will take place at a future date.
