Lawrence Kregar, 74, died July 31, 2020 at Fort Dodge. He was born February 18, 1946 in Dodge City, KS. the son of Edward E. and Dortha Neier Kregar. Lawrence farmed for many years and also had a carpentry business. He worked from sun up until sun down to make sure his family was provided for. If there was neighbor in need Lawrence was the first one there to help. He was also involved with his community and his church. He loved to bake cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, and breads for his family and friends. His favorite thing was to be out in his garden every summer. He was so proud of all the things he grew.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Dortha Neier and Bernard Bieber and his wife Nancy Kregar.
He is survived by his four children; Edward and wife LaDawn Kregar of Offerle, KS., Dennis and wife Stacey Kregar of Hays, KS., Mark Kregar of Offerle, KS., and Kathy Kregar of Offerle, KS., four grandchildren; Aubree Kregar, Jamie Kregar, Brecklyn Kregar, and William Zink. and one great grand baby, two brothers; Lyle and wife Judy Kregar of Bucklin, KS., Milton and wife Debbie Kregar of Illinois.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at McKillip Memorial Chapel in Kinsley, KS.
Funeral Service is at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church, Offerle, KS.
Face Masks required during the funeral service.
Memorials are suggested to the Zion Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
