Patricia Lea Olsen

Patricia "Pat" Lea Olsen, 79, was born to William and Dorothy Rogers on June 25, 1945 and she passed away on February 10, 2025.

She attended school at Zook, KS.  When it Closed she finished her education and graduated from Garfield High School.

It was in Larned that she met her ornery handsome husband Larry Val Olsen.  On August 17, 1963 they got married and began their journey of life and family.

Her family grew with two daughters, Shelly R. (Tim) Peterson and Valerie (Steve) Jahr.  Her love for the family continued to grow and still grow with five grandchildren;  Shasta, Sorel, Tantry, Colton, Camden and one great grand baby Laten.  She has one loving sister, Gerri Jantz from Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by three brothers; Dusty, Travis and Larry and one sister Billie Belt.

She took a job with the ASCS office of Pawnee County.  Her passion though was being a farm wife dedicating her life to raising a family, helping her husband, and watching and participating in her grandkids lives.

What a fabulous cook and baker she was.  There was always something good at her house.  Harvest meals were the best.  If she wasn't cooking she was cleaning, but she did take time to enjoy reading many books.

Pat, Mom, and Grandma you will be missed dearly, but you have instilled many memories for us to look upon.  We love you always.
