Wade Marcellus Brown, age 55, passed away from natural causes at his home in Lewis, KS on May 14, 2022. Wade was born on November 30, 1966, to Marcellus Brown and Janice (Larrick) Erickson, in Guymon, OK. He would graduate high school from Lewis, KS and would then receive his associates degree from Garden City Community College. Wade had one son, Coleman West, and one daughter, Madison Brown. Between Lewis and Pratt, Wade worked at Cross Manufacturing for around 20 years. Wade loved spending his time out at the lake fishing and with his dog, Duke. Wade also loved helping his best friend, Dan Kendall, out at the ranch. Wade loved music and showing his children the new music, he would find. Wade would also play the guitar for anyone who would sit down and listen to him play.
He is survived by his children, Coleman West (Tiffany) of Woodward, OK, and Madison Brown of Hillsboro, KS. Brother Shannon Brown (Rebecca) of Jackson, TN. Nephews Naman Brown and Pierson Brown, both of Jackson, TN.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents Marcellus Brown and Janice Erickson. Grandparents Herbert and Alice Brown. Uncles Elton Brown, Mike Brown and Victor Brown and aunt Melba Brown.
A Memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the First Baptist Church Of Lewis in Lewis, KS. Burial will take place in Oklahoma at a later date.
