Wilda Emma Bartman, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Newton Medical Center from Covid. She lived the majority of her life in Kinsley/Offerle. She was born in Spearville, Kansas on September 19, 1931 to William and Ruth (Hedges) Rabe. She grew up on a farm south of Offerle. She graduated from Offerle High School and Salt City Business College in Hutchinson, Kansas. She married Kenneth Bartman in Kinsley, Kansas on November 12, 1950. They were married for sixty-nine years until Kenneth's passing in November 2019. Wilda was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Kinsley. Wilda was an outstanding artist.
She is survived by her daughter Ronda and husband Mark Meyer of Halstead, Kansas; grandsons Braden and wife Melissa of Newton, Kansas and Kenyon and wife Dana of Halstead, Kansas; five great-grandchildren; Tristan, Aidan, Gavin, Gage and Makenna.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; her son Kent; sister Elaine Katz and brother Ethan Rabe.
Due to the Corona Virus a private family service will be held with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Offerle, Kansas. Memorials can be sent to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Kinsley.
